Excellent 2007 compilation from the Jazz crooner and songwriter. Torme, who was nicknamed 'The Velvet Fog' due to his husky voice, was the singer's singer and created a large body of work that remains underappreciated to this day. This 22 track compilation is a fantastic introduction to his work and features many fine performances including his most famous composition 'The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)'.
